second floor unit at this apartment building. investigators still on the scene here at the building at 5800 walnut street. a sergeant here on scene told me a short time ago that a man has been taken into custody in connection with the deadly stabbing. that man had cuts to his hands. police showed up here first around 2:30 this morning when a neighbor called up 911. officers came and found this woman was multiple stab wounds and she eventually died here in scene. police did take the man into custody and he will be questioned by investigators and at this point police aren't speculating on a possible motive for this deadly stabbing. >> meantime on the other side of the city, oakland police also investigating a deadly shooting. two people were killed when gun fire broke out on the 800 block. shell casings could be seen on the ground at that area. police aren't releasing any information on the victims in this case or any information on the shooter. i reached out to the police spokesperson this morning for more information. but with three more killings oakland has now seen 130 homicides s
